How Mimic works

Mimic is a marketplace for robot training data. Companies post motion tasks, contributors film them, and approved clips pay out in real RWA stock. Everything settles on-chain on Robinhood Chain.

The flow

01

A company posts a task

The poster funds the task with ETH and picks the RWA stock contributors get paid in. The full reward is locked in the escrow contract up front, so payment is guaranteed before anyone films a single frame.

02

Contributors film and submit

You record the motion on your phone and submit the clip with a small ETH stake. The stake keeps submissions honest: it comes back in full when your clip passes review.

03

Review and payout

A validator checks the clip for clarity and fidelity. On approval, the escrowed ETH is swapped to the chosen stock token via Uniswap in the same transaction and sent straight to your wallet. Rejected clips forfeit their stake.

On-chain

Mimic runs on Robinhood Chain (chain id 4663), an Ethereum L2 where tokenized stocks trade on-chain. Every task, submission, and payout is a public transaction you can verify yourself.

Payout tokens

Payouts are tokenized stocks issued on Robinhood Chain. Not points, not IOUs — RWA tokens you hold in your own wallet. A few of the 79+ available:

Good to know

Why the stake?

The stake filters out spam. It is small, it is returned in full on approval, and it is the reason review queues stay clean.

When do I get paid?

The moment your clip is approved. Payout and swap happen in one atomic transaction — there is no pending balance to withdraw.

What do I need to start?

A wallet with a little ETH on Robinhood Chain and a phone camera. Browse the open tasks and pick one.
